紀錄一場向Leonard Cohen致敬的演唱會，由Nick Cave、溫特萊兄妹等歌手在台上重新詮釋Leonard Cohen的歌，在每首歌的中間，穿插了他本人以及許多他周遭朋友和仰慕者的訪談，這些仰慕者包括了U2的主場Bono、吉他手和Nick Cave，都是曾被他深深影響的歌手…

最早認識到Leonard Cohen，其實是在前幾年的金馬影展，看溫德斯的「豐饒之地」，在電影接近尾聲的的時候，小女孩Lana和叔叔Paul站在重建中的雙子星大廈前，這時，緩緩的傳出一個低沈而滄桑的嗓音，Leonard Cohen的歌聲在螢幕畫面暗下來後，沈重的唱出無奈與蒼涼的感覺。當然，我是事後才知道這首Land of Plenty的主唱者就是Leonard Cohen，後來從網路上知道，原來德國導演溫德斯跟U2的主唱Bono，都是Leonard Cohen的Fans…

第二次接觸到他的歌是今年，有個朋友給我Jeff Buckley（他也是另一個傳奇阿！）遺世的唯一專輯「Grace」，當我聽到裡面其中一首歌的時候，全身起雞皮疙瘩，Jeff Buckley把這首歌發揮的淋漓盡致，這首歌就是Hallelujah，當時以為他就是原唱（沒辦法他真的唱的太棒了），後來才發現這首歌同樣出自Leonard Cohen之手。

兩次機緣讓我認識了這位傳奇性的大師，藉著這次的紀錄片I am Your Man，得以更認識這位奇才，他的詩和歌詞，經過千錘百鍊後，才呈現在世人面前，也因此，它們將永遠流傳後世…

藉由Youtube之便，找到了兩個不同版本的Hallelujah，一個是由Jeff Buckley所演唱，另一段就是電影中溫特萊兄妹演唱的版本，兩個版本都非常動聽，很可惜找不到由Leonard Cohen本人現場演唱的畫面，看來只能去找CD來聽了...
